Eric Eisenhard is the co-founder of Redwood Family Wealth, where he combines extensive experience in financial planning, investment strategy and portfolio management to guide clients through all market conditions. With a focus on serving families and business owners, Eric provides practical advice shaped by real-world experience. His journey to founding Redwood Family Wealth began after four years at Raymond James and Associates and five years at XO Wealth, building on an early career as a teacher and basketball coach. This background drives his commitment to meaningful partnerships and long-lasting client relationships.
Eric finds the greatest satisfaction in collaborating with families and business owners on their unique life journeys. He feels that the best experiences of his life have come from working on teams, and that the best advice comes from teamwork. He’s inspired each day by the trust clients place in him to help achieve their life-changing goals.
Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Cortland State University and a master’s degree in education from UC Berkeley. Outside of work, Eric enjoys time with his wife, Megan, and their two sons, Owen and Henry. Together, they pursue outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking, skiing and climbing. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, Eric spent 14 years coaching high school and college teams, earning multiple Final Four and state championships. He’s also an avid backcountry skier, rock climber and mountaineer, with certifications from the American Mountain Guides Association.
